Pai Gow Poker is a current game with ancient ancestry. Founded on the old Chinese domino game and the current American variation of poker, Pai Gow poker bands together the east with the west in an excellent game for starting players.
Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the gambler versus the casino, not like nearly all other poker games that players compete with other gamblers. By playing against the dealer, beginner players don’t need to worry about other, more advanced gamblers taking their moolla.
Another Pai Gow advantage is the fairly slow game play, rookies should be able to take their time and plan without needing to make hasty decisions.
It’s also simpler to play for an extended time with basically a tiny amount of money seeing as, to not win, each of your hands needs to be under each of the dealer’s hands.
Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the regular 52-card common deck and one joker. The player is dealt seven cards faces showing and the croupier receives 7 cards face down.
A five card hand and a 2 card hand have to be made from the seven cards, the 5 card hand must be higher than the 2 card hand. To win, a player is required to have both of his hand values to be larger than the dealer’s.
