Double-hand Poker is a cutting-edge game with old origins. Founded on the old Chinese tile game and the current American adaptation of poker, Pai Gow poker bands together the east with the wild west in an awesome game for beginning level players.
Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the player against the croupier, unlike almost all other poker games that players play with other gamblers. By competing against the dealer, beginning players do not have to worry about any other, more experienced players winning their $$$$.
An additional Pai Gow advantage is the fairly slow game pace, newcomers are able to take their time and strategize without needing to make quick decisions.
It is also easier to enjoy for a long time with only a tiny bit of money since, to lose, each of your hands must be under each of the houses hands.
Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the familiar 52-card basic deck and a single joker. The player is dealt 7 cards faces showing and the dealer gets 7 cards face down.
One five card hand and a two card hand have to be put together from the 7 cards dealt, the five card hand must be better than the two card hand. To win, a player is required to have both of his hand totals to be better than the dealer’s.
