Have you seen the new PokerPro hold’em poker tables? The first time I saw the PokerPro tables was about a couple of weeks ago when I took a brief getaway with my mom to the WinStar Casino in Oklahoma.
As I anxiously waited for my name to be summoned at the live tables, I observed how the other folks around the PokerPro tables interface with one another. It was pretty fascinating to say the least. Because the poker table was controlled by a computer, there have been no poker chips to do any chip hints, no cards to shuffle and the real live encounter was stagnant. Perhaps I was the only one that recognized this, except I did notice the players on the table had a lifeless quality to them. The cause of this may be since there was no human conversation with the croupier, the ambiance was relatively boring and the players looked bored to tears. It was almost as if I was looking at a live variant of an internet hold’em poker room rather than sitting with warm bodied humans. It was a tiny bit bizarre and I continued to have flash backs to a show of The Next Generation and the holodeck malfunctioned.
Since the waiting time for the reside tables was over an hour, I decided to see how the casino game play was and to encounter this new texas holdem poker gaming technologies. Soon after playing a couple of hands, I really felt like I was playing at home. The lack of activity at the table was the main reason. I prefer to stack and shuffle my chips, and mix my cards around. None of those things are feasible at these computer tables.
An additional thing I observed was how the program dealt the flop, turn and river cards. I played a great deal of hands at the PokerPro table and noticed that the bet on was a whole lot like an internet based hold em poker website. That could have been just a coincidence, but I discovered it to be quite odd.
Right after betting a couple of rounds with this "unique holdem poker technology", I decided that the PokerPro tables have been not for me. I’m far better off betting hold em poker on the internet at house and not travel the distance. If WinStar Gambling house have been to receive rid of the are living poker tables, I think they would loose a great deal of gamblers.
